i teach gentle yoga and meditation each week at an emergency shelter for women in seattle, who are trying to leave a violent partner, and need refuge and help.
quiet time to care for the body and mind is essential. it is not always easy to find, especially when we are in crisis. even though this is when we need it more than ever!
i like to offer those who come to my classes simple techniques that can be incorporated into the daily routine of real life to calm the mind, to ease the body.
